Originally born in Puerto Rico, Dr. Nieves moved to the United States to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. She then graduated with a BS degree in Pre-Chiropractic Kinesiology. After moving to Iowa, Dr. Nieves graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2009.
After advancing her course of learning through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in prenatal care and pediatrics, Dr. Nieves evolved into a doula and natural childbirth instructor through the Bradley Method, Inc. She then managed her own clinic practicing chiropractic care and nutrition in Iowa as well as Illinois in order to help hundreds of patients gain better health through non-surgical solutions.

She graduated from Parker University College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas, with a degree in Biochemistry and Biophysical Science from the University of Houston. She was the most highly trained practitioner in Chiropractic Biophysics, completed her bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and holds a Master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner.
Dr. An has attained many achievements, including working at the MD Anderson Cancer Center and establishing herself as a published author. She has also had the honor of guest speaking for many organizations, some of which include the Houston Energy Football Team and Memorial Drive Methodist Church. Additionally, she is currently enrolled in a Stem Cell Therapy Fellowship program with the American Academy of Anti-Aging.
